Need help with UV Bestie? This page covers common setup and troubleshooting steps.

Location and weather

If local UV data is unavailable, check that Location permission is enabled for UV Bestie. You can also choose a place manually from the Places screen.

Notifications

Sun exposure reminders require notification permission. You can update notification access in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions

Purchases and restores are handled by the App Store. Use Restore Purchases from UV Bestie settings if premium access does not appear after purchase.

Skin photo analysis

For best results, use a clear, evenly lit photo. UV Bestie provides cosmetic sun-exposure guidance only and is not medical advice.
